Match preview: Yeovil Town (A)

2 October 2025

Tomorrow, Luke Garrard’s side are on the road to face Yeovil Town as we look to continue our unbeaten run, kicking-off at 15:00.

Last season for the Glovers

After bouncing back from the National League South at the first time of asking in the 2023/24 season, Yeovil managed to retain their National League status by finishing in 18th place and four points above the drop zone.

Last season laid the foundations for them to achieve more success this term, currently occupying eighth place with three wins in a row.

One to watch

An influential forward presence who has a wealth of experience in this division, Tahvon Campbell will be looking to help steer Yeovil up the table this term. The 28-year-old, formerly of sides including Woking, Rochdale and Forest Green Rovers, arrived in Somerset in the summer from Solihull Moors and has registered three goal contributions in league 13 appearances.

The Wood

Garrard’s side came close to following up Saturday’s 1-0 home win over Woking when Southend United came to Hertfordshire on Tuesday night.

Matt Rush continued his fine run of form with his third goal in three games to give us the lead with 69 minutes on the clock before Josh Walker equalised nine minutes from time to ensure we had to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw.
