Boreham Wood Football Club can confirm that tickets are now on sale for our upcoming Emirates FA Cup First Round Proper tie at home to League Two side Crawley Town on Saturday 1 November, kicking off at 15:00.
If we want to continue our recent run of causing cup upsets, then we’re going to need a noisy crowd, we’ll need to create an intimidating atmosphere and if we get that coupled with our normal underdog mentality, then we are hopefully on our way to once again overcoming league opposition.
Chairman Danny Hunter said: “These days used to overwhelm us, but I do not believe that’s the case anymore after beating the likes of AFC Wimbledon, Bristol Rovers and Bournemouth in recent years. That said, we know you cannot win these types of games on your own, you need your supporters to come out and be at it. You need a partisan and noisy cup atmosphere for the players to react to… I feel if we can get that and push with home advantage, then we can turn this cup tie into a 50/50 game and that will give us an underdog’s chance to create some more cup history.”
The club are asking the local community to attend in your numbers, let’s give the players an atmosphere to make even more FA Cup history. Let’s try to claim another league scalp and become FA Cup giant killers once again…

For their visit to the Mangata Developments Stadium Meadow Park, Crawley Town supporters have been allocated 800 tickets. Crawley Town supporters must enter through the stadium’s south turnstiles, accessible via the Brook Road car park.
Please note: this fixture will operate under full segregation and the southeast terrace of the stadium will not be in use.
